How the Great Practice Great Life Journey: Family Law Works
This is a hybrid group program designed exclusively for family law attorneys. It blends in-person connection with virtual accessibility so you can stay engaged without living on a plane. Program format includes:
Four primary group sessions per year – A mix of in-person workdays in Orlando and virtual Zoom sessions
Additional “Keeping Your Momentum” sessions on Zoom between meetings to help you stay on track
Special guest speakers from Atticus’ community of experienced family law attorneys
A dedicated Member Advisor to help you implement what you learn and maintain momentum
Timing: The next Family Law Journey cohort is kicking off in early 2026, beginning with an in-person session in Orlando and supported by virtual sessions throughout the year.

Program Facilitator
Aaron Rothert, Esq.
Aaron Rothert is an attorney, a former instructor for the Internal Revenue Service, and has worked with the State Attorney’s Office in Florida. As a Practice Advisor, Aaron works with firm owners and associates, particularly those practicing family law, to achieve their goals in the areas of time management, client development, staffing, cash flow, and profitability. He has coached many family law firms navigating high-conflict cases, emotionally intense clients, and the pressure to keep their practices profitable, and he brings that experience directly into the Family Law Journey group he facilitates. In addition to his individual coaching practice, Aaron conducts DISC Behavioral Profile discussions with attorneys and team members.
Aaron has been published in the Family Law Journal and writes regularly on time management and marketing for attorneys, including those in family law.

Chris Murphy, Esq.
Chris Murphy is an attorney, longtime law firm leader, and Atticus Practice Advisor who helps lawyers build practices that truly support their lives. He began in his firm as an intern in 1997, later became an associate, and ultimately served as managing partner, giving him firsthand experience in growing and leading a successful firm.
As a coach with Atticus, Chris works with attorneys and law firm owners, including many in family law, to manage demanding caseloads, emotionally charged client matters, and the pressures of running a business. Drawing on his diverse legal background, he helps lawyers reduce stress, improve profitability, and create sustainable, client-focused practices.
Member Advisor
Veronica Waggoner
Veronica Waggoner joined the Atticus team as a Resource Advisor with over 13 years of extensive legal management experience.
Working at a notable family law firm in Central Florida, she held multiple positions as a Paralegal, Office Manager, and head of the Client Relations Team. Her duties included firm financial organization, a wide variety of HR responsibilities, cultivating and maintaining strong client relationships, managing marketing projects to drive firm growth, and a wide range of legal support responsibilities.
While serving as Client Relations Manager and Team Leader, she participated in the Atticus Practice Growth Program and saw the difference it could make. That experience motivates her to help others transform their practices.
