Loretta “Lori” Goetz is a seasoned professional with over 20 years of experience in the legal industry and a decade of expertise in technology and data management. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Accounting from North Carolina Wesleyan University and an Associate of Science in General Business from the University of Alaska.
Lori began her career as an accountant for municipal facilities and small businesses before advancing to a controller role at a law firm with over 30 attorneys. She later founded an accounting and consulting firm that supported more than 90 solo and small law firms, along with clients from various other sectors. In addition to her consulting work, Lori has held senior leadership positions in product strategy and marketing at prestigious firms such as LexisNexis, Toshiba, insightsoftware, and CData in Research Triangle Park. Her diverse background includes five years as a business analyst and data manager for the Trans Alaska Pipeline, where she honed her skills in driving growth through innovative strategies.
As a published author and speaker, Lori has contributed articles and blogs to numerous platforms, including Attorneys At Work, Legal Ease Blog, Cordell Parvin Blog, Affinity Consulting, and multiple bar associations. She has presented on webinars and podcasts covering topics such as time management, productivity, trust accounting compliance, and best practices for law practice management and billing software.
