For ANY Professional. Even though I am not a lawyer, I work in a law office and put in as many hours (sometimes more) as the attorneys. I gained much insight from this book and believe its concepts can be applied by any professional who is finding difficulty juggling family/home/career. Mr. Riley touches on areas I had never considered and assists the reader through a step-by-step process to finding the help they need. I highly recommend this book to anyone who is feeling the stress of trying to be everything to everyone and missing out on living life.

Pure Gold. This book, “The Domestic Assistant Advantage,” is pure gold for any female executive or female business owner. I could immediately see myself in the overworked overachieving business owner/mother/spouse/daughter. The explanation of the advantages to a woman who is trying to have it all and make it work without going insane helped me tremendously in identifying the right person when I found her. Women, including myself, continue to fight stereotypes. When I implemented the Domestic Assistant Advantage, it somehow gave me permission to offload everything but being a parent and spouse, and left more room for those I love, including me. Just one week in, and I am less stressed. We had a home cooked meal before heading off to a baseball game, laundry done, shopping list complete, dogs walked, among a long list to other tasks completed. I am finding room for exercise. Thank you, Steve Riley, for this thoughtfully written book and all of the checklists and tools for managing my domestic assistant now that I found her. It has the added advantage of forcing me to be more organized in my creation and management of tasks, versus an ad hoc flying by the seat of my pants existence, constantly scrambling or seeing something in the house and thinking, “one day I’ll get to that…” One day has arrived.
