Intake Mastery: First Impressions to Forever Clients
A great intake system is the foundation to a thriving law firm. It is more than just answering calls—it’s the first step in building trust, creating a positive client experience, and ensuring that the right people choose your firm. Yet, many firms lose potential clients due to missed calls, inconsistent processes, or intake teams that lack the training to confidently convert inquiries into paying clients.
Imagine an intake process that flows effortlessly, makes a powerful first impression, and consistently turns potential clients into signed agreements.
In this interactive six-part workshop series, you’ll participate in six, two-hour sessions designed to transform your firm’s intake process. You’ll gain proven strategies, hands-on exercises, and practical tools to immediately improve your results.
**Program includes an 88-page Intake Training Playbook that is customizable for your firm!**

Veronica Waggoner breaks down what is covered during this workshop series and why it matters to your firm’s growth.
The Intake Mastery class with Atticus was extremely helpful for our firm. It pushed us to take a close, step‑by‑step look at our intake process and break it down in a way we hadn’t done before. By mapping everything out, we were able to clearly see where any gaps existed and where we needed to focus more time and energy. The resources provided were especially valuable and gave us a strong starting point for evaluating and improving our systems and workflows. I would highly recommend this class to anyone involved in the intake process.

The Intake Mastery Workshop helped us see that our process works—but the small, intentional improvements make all the difference. From building trust on the first call to making our messages feel more human, we’ve already seen better responses and stronger conversions.

Through the Intake Mastery Workshop, Atticus reinforced that excellence in client development does not require a complete overhaul — it requires consistent, intentional improvement in how we communicate, connect, and deliver value.

It is the foundation of every client relationship, and without it, there are no clients. I also gained an incredible community through this experience. Our ropes team became such a strong support system, and even now we continue to check in with each other and share resources.

We enrolled two employees into the Intake Mastery: First Impressions to Forever Clients course when it was first offered. One employee had been with our firm for a few years while the other was very new when they enrolled in the course. Our intent was only to give our employees additional training that we either didn’t have time for or were not expert at. Our expectations were greatly exceeded. We never intended for these two employees to begin managing our intake calls for our potential clients, but after a few classes, that is exactly what they were doing. The Intake Mastery class gave our employees the tools and the confidence to make changes to our existing intake process for the better and manage the entire process. Our firm gained so much value with the Intake Mastery Class that we enrolled another new employee in the course when it was offered a second time. As with all of the Atticus offerings, the Intake Mastery class accelerated our employees’ growth and allowed our employees to learn from experts, not their busy coworkers. As a firm, we highly recommend the Intake Mastery class for new & seasoned client-facing employees.

“The Intake Mastery program was extremely helpful in my own understanding of the intake process. I came away from the program with a clear plan on how to handle intake, how to train my team and exactly how to onboard a new intake specialist. It has been a game changer for converting leads to consultations!”
