Denise is a Senior Growth Consultant who has spent more than a decade helping solo and small firm attorneys take greater control of their firms, their time, and their lives.
Before joining Atticus, Denise spent more than 12 years in television, including as a sports anchor in Orlando, before moving into PR, sales, and marketing for law firms. Today, she works with attorneys who are successful on paper but overwhelmed behind the scenes. They’re working nights and weekends, carrying too much themselves, struggling to delegate, and realizing they can’t keep running the firm this way.
Denise helps owners step back from the daily demands of practicing law and become better business owners. She focuses on creating clarity, building a team they can trust, setting better boundaries, and actually implementing the changes that allow the firm to run without everything depending on them.
Denise also makes a point of living the Great Practice, Great Life philosophy herself. She loves traveling, softball, golf, and escaping to the beach whenever she can. A lifelong sports fan, she’s also working toward visiting every Major League Baseball park, with 23 of 30 already checked off the list.
Business Growth Without the Boring Presentation
Before Denise joined Atticus, she spent more than 12 years in television, including as an Orlando sports anchor. That front-of-camera experience still shows when she takes the stage.
Denise combines the energy and presence of an experienced broadcaster with more than a decade of helping solo and small firm attorneys. Her presentations are engaging, candid, practical, and built around challenges her audiences recognize immediately: too little time, too much depending on the owner, inconsistent client development, difficulty delegating, and a successful career that has started taking over the rest of their life.
Denise is available for keynotes, CLEs, conferences, workshops, panels, webinars, podcasts, and other programs for attorneys, business owners, professional-service firms, associations, and leadership groups.

When “I Used To” Becomes Your Answer: Getting Your Life Back From Your Business
Ask an overwhelmed business owner what they do for fun and the answer is often some version of, “I used to…” Denise explores how successful professionals gradually give up their time to the business, why working harder won’t solve it, and what needs to change for the owner to regain control without sacrificing success.
Stop Owning Every Job in Your Firm
Delegation is difficult when an owner believes no one else will do the work as well as they will. Denise helps audiences rethink what it means to be a successful owner, build greater trust in their team, establish clearer boundaries, and move from personally carrying the business to actually leading it.
From Great Lawyer to Better Business Owner
Law school teaches attorneys how to practice law, not how to build a business that can thrive without them. Denise helps firm owners identify what is keeping them stuck, focus on the changes that matter most, and develop the clarity, accountability, and implementation needed to move forward.
An Experienced Speaker Who Knows How to Hold a Room
Denise has presented at bar associations, CLE programs, family law conferences, legal symposiums, and professional events across the country. Her previous audiences and hosts include the South Carolina Bar, the Family Law Section of the Alabama State Bar, the Northern Kentucky Bar Association, WealthCounsel, the Central Florida Family Law Inn of Court, and the Missouri Bar.
Her goal is never to give an audience more information to take home and forget. It’s to make them think, laugh, recognize themselves in the conversation, and leave knowing what they can do differently.
Speaking topics can be tailored to the audience, event format, and desired outcomes.
