Ronald “Ronnie” Morton, LL.M., CELA®, CFP® is the founding member of the Morton Law Firm, PLLC. His practice focuses on Estate Planning and Elder Law.
As a Practice Advisor, in addition to the fundamentals that make a law firm run brilliantly, Ronnie brings a deep understanding of effective use of technology in marketing a law practice, from the use of CRM’s to streamline marketing automation, to implementing Direct Response Marketing Campaigns for law firms. He is a frequent speaker on the use of law office technology and holds several digital marketing certifications from such market leaders as Hubspot, Digital Marketer and Keap. As a law firm entrepreneur who has embraced technology to market and run his practice Ronnie doesn’t just teach digital marketing theory – he actually does this stuff. In addition, Ronnie teaches Elder Law and Small Firm Practice at Mississippi College School of Law as an adjunct professor.
He has a Juris Doctorate degree, magna cum laude, from Mississippi College School of Law. He was awarded a Masters of Law in Taxation with Honors from the University of Alabama School of Law in 2007, and has earned the designation of Certified Elder Law Attorney by the National Elder Law Foundation. Additionally, Ronnie is a Certified Financial Planner™ professional, and helps clients with retirement planning and asset management.
Ronnie and his wife Cindy have twin sons. His family enjoys skiing, trips to the beach, personal watercraft, and bicycling. As frequent visitors to Central Florida they have more recently become Disney Adults, visiting the parks several times each year.
