About the Workshop

As an attorney, your legal skills are the basis and foundation of your practice, but they don’t always drive continuous growth. Law school prepares you for being an associate for someone else, it doesn’t provide you with the tools and resources to grow a great practice.

For your business to grow, you want to focus on business skills to better drive your law firm – time management, marketing, building a great team, and profitability.

In this workshop on October 12, 2023, you will plan your great life. You will build a strategy around what a great life looks like to you in the next 24 months. You will create your quarter one plan as you head into 2024 and decide what you need to do in the next 90 days so you can align your strategies with your goals.

In this workshop, you will learn how to balance your great practice and your great life. If you don’t have balance, you won’t be able to focus on anything besides the legal, technical work.

• Help you think about growing your practice (think about strategies for growth and not tasks for cash)
• Use the rest of the year to raise the bar for 2024
• Plan for 2024 (what is the first thing you will implement and work on)
• We hope that you come back next year and say that you had the best year ever

In this 90-minute workshop, you will spend time using The My Great Life™ – Three Big Rocks proprietary worksheet to write out three big goals for 2024 – personal and professional. You will use this worksheet to pivot and evaluate the steps needed to accomplish and move the needle forward. You will learn the importance of your top cases, referral sources, and delegating.
