About the Program
Building off Level 1, Team Leader Certification Program, Level 2 will focus on further developing leadership skills to effectively lead a Rockstar Team, completing and learning to apply firm processes and procedures, i.e. Rockstar Team Guide, and applying Lean Principles to improve cashflow and profitability. This six-month, 12-session program is a continuation of the Level 1 Team Leader Program, where we will continue to build your confidence and communication skills, while you develop a thorough understanding of how you impact the success of your law firm.
What you’ll accomplish:
- Deep Dive into cornerstone skills of Time Management, Building Your Team, and Cashflow & Profitability
- Building a Rockstar Team Guide
- How to influence mindsets of your team members, through the use of ‘not yet’ after further review of Mindset by Carol Dweck
- Develop a system to build processes while flowcharting one major process that has not been captured
- Develop a plan for your possible extended absence from the firm
- Learn how to effectively apply Lean principles to all facets of the law firm through a deep dive into A Factory of One, by Daniel Markovitz

Patti Paz
Adjunct Practice Advisor, Paralegal and Certified Team Leader
Patti Paz is a Certified Team Leader and Atticus Adjunct Practice Advisor. Patti was instrumental in the creation of Idaho Estate Planning, an estate planning and elder law firm in Idaho. She also had the privilege of presenting a Game Changer at the 2017 Summit on her journey with handling initial consults.
She began her association with Atticus over a decade ago, coaching with Atticus Practice Advisor and Attorney Steve Riley. She has participated in the Practice Growth Program® as well as the Dominate Your Market Program©. She was hand picked in 2021 to develop curriculum and facilitate the Atticus Team Leader Certification Program.
Patti has been married for 33 years, has two daughters, two sons-in-laws, a granddaughter and an old English bulldog, Baloo.
