Thank you for joining Daniel Struna for the 90-minute workshop on December 18th, “S.M.A.R.T. Goals for 2024- Level Up Your Law Firm” where he spoke about using business skills to elevate your team and community going into 2024.

Goal setting is considered a business skill due to the time, energy, and patience it takes to set intentional goals. We have to take care of ourselves, even things that may be unrelated to our business, as everything we do for ourselves has a direct correlation with our team and our law firm. Daniel shared six time management strategies to help you spend more time in the business and not on the business. He also discussed mindset and used the Atticus Change Formula™ to determine your “why” so you can think about where you are and where you would like to be.

S.M.A.R.T. goals stands for Specific, Measurable, Accountable, Reasonable, and Timeline (or Timely). Use this acronym as you move forward with setting your 2024 goals.

Daniel took us through several worksheets including the Learning Bridge™ worksheet – what worked in 2023, why it worked, what didn’t work and why and then three lessons learned. The idea behind the Learning Bridge™ is to do some reflective work around 2023.

The 3 Big Rocks process is taking note of your celebrations and what you want to celebrate by the end of next year. What are your wins, the things that are going well and making progress, and experiencing momentum? Position yourself in 2024, look back at a progress-filled year and determine what made it a fantastic year.

Below, please find the worksheets and slides that were used in the workshop. Feel free to print them out for your records.
